When Your Coach Gives You the Ick
I helped a nonprofit step out of 2005 and into the digital age—think ghost tour vibes, paper payment slips, and a historic mansion full of untapped magic. It was a win for them and a huge visibility boost for my business. But when I told my (now ex) coach the story? She dragged me for not charging. Spoiler: She missed the entire damn point. Not every business decision needs to come with an invoice—sometimes integrity is the best marketing strategy.
